Techniques and Tools

The input to analysis is the output of processing, specifically a collection of culled and deduplicated electronic documents and emails with their associated metadata. Each document may exist in native form and/or in a normalized form such as html, tiff or pdf. The documents are indexed and available for search. The documents have been organized into an initial set of folders for review, for example one folder containing the materials collected from each custodian.
