Attenex to Provide Software to CRA International's Forensic Computing Services Group, Expanding Level of Electronic Evidence Offerings to the UK Litigation Market
SEATTLE - Jan. 4, 2006 - Attenexr Corp., a leading software developer of document analysis and visualization tools for electronic disclosure, and CRA International, a worldwide leader in providing economic, financial, and management consulting services, today announced that CRA's Forensic Computing Services group (formerly the Lee & Allen Forensic Computing Services group) will use Attenex Patterns software in its electronic evidence consulting services to regulatory, commercial and legal clients in the United Kingdom. In response to the increase in the volume of electronic documents and e-mail correspondence its clients currently are reviewing as part of the dispute resolution process, CRA's Forensic Computing Services group will begin offering Attenex Patterns software to manage and streamline the electronic document review process.
"The Forensic Computing Services group has been at the cutting edge of the U.K. electronic evidence market for several years now and we continually are seeking the best products and services to offer our clients in this market," said Craig Earnshaw, CRA's head of Forensic Computing. "When clients began requesting on-line document review solutions and methodologies to enable them to perform the review of electronic documents and e-mail correspondence quickly and efficiently, we identified Attenex as the best solution."
As the first U.K.-based "Attenex Advantage Partner," headquartered in London, CRA's Forensic Computing Services group will be able to expand its client services to increase the level of electronic evidence assistance it provides to the U.K. litigation market. The Attenex software will enable more rapid identification of relevant content and provide a scalable and secure platform to automate the bulk of the clerical and technical processing involved in response, while dramatically speeding up document review and maintaining a chain of evidence and full audit trail. The Forensic Computing Services group will begin using the Attenex review platform by mid-January 2006.
The Forensic Computing Services group was formed in 1998 as part of Lee & Allen Consulting, which was acquired by CRA International in April 2005. The Forensic Computing Services group is recognized as a world leader in its field and has considerable experience in dealing with digital disclosure, including supporting the drafting of comprehensive disclosure requests to include all forms of potentially relevant digital data, securing potentially relevant sources of data in a forensically sound manner, assisting with efficient searching and analysis of data received, and performing the entire electronic disclosure process for major multinational clients. Attenex Patterns software will allow CRA Forensic Services Computing clients to use unique visualization technology to respond more quickly and affordably to the increasing volume of electronic documents to be reviewed and categorized.
"The inclusion of Attenex into the offerings of the CRA Forensic Computing Services group is even greater recognition that the review of electronic documents and e-mail correspondence is now an integral part of the document review process for any dispute matter," said Brian Schlosser, CEO Attenex. "We look forward to filling the electronic evidence needs of the U.K. litigation market with this premier provider."
