Symantec Releases Public Betas of Vista-Compatible Consumer Products

CUPERTINO, Calif. – Nov. 27, 2006 – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced the availability of public beta versions of Norton Internet Security 2007 and Norton AntiVirus 2007 compatible with the upcoming Windows Vista operating system. Now, early consumer adopters of Vista can use these security tools designed to proactively protect their PCs from a vast array of online threats—including spyware, viruses, worms, hackers, phishing sites, and crimeware—while maximizing security, performance, and ease-of-use.

Beta versions of Vista compatible Norton Internet Security 2007 and Norton AntiVirus 2007 are available for public download at http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/publicbeta/index.jsp to users running the beta version of the Microsoft Vista operating system.

Availability

Users can download the public betas of Vista compatible Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus from http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/publicbeta/index.jsp. The final versions of Vista compatible Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus are scheduled to be available for purchase subject to production release of the Windows Vista operating system.
