ADERANT Enhances Marketing Solution

Orlando, Florida—August 23, 2006– ADERANT, a global provider of business and financial management software for professional services organizations, today announced the general availability of an enhanced version of the company’s front office marketing and new business generation application, Expert Marketing (formerly Expert CRM). The improved application includes improvements to its contact, list, and relationship management functionality, tighter integration with Microsoft Outlook, new activity management functionality, and various user interface enhancements.

Contact and List Management

Expert Marketing now includes new fields to track company-specific information that can be used for searching, filtering, and reporting. The improved application also includes optional address association functionality that greatly reduces address maintenance and the risk of data entry errors. Additionally, Expert Marketing includes new duplicate check functionality.

Expert Marketing’s contact functionality has also been enhanced to allow filtering by the inherent data types tracked in Expert Back Office, including Clients, File Opening, Vendors, and Personnel.

These new capabilities increase Expert Marketing’s list management capabilities and allow professionals and marketing personnel to quickly generate tailored lists by filtering contacts by categories or relationship entities. Contacts can be tagged and exported to easily create a variety of lists, including mailing, mass email, events, and more. Expert Marketing enables users to establish a hierarchy of lists, including both parent and sub lists, so they can more effectively manage complex marketing campaigns that include multiple initiatives.

Microsoft Outlook Integration

Expert Marketing includes improved integration with Microsoft Outlook. The application can now be directly accessed from within Microsoft Outlook and includes more descriptive relationship information within the contact form.

The enhanced application now enables users to access additional details when viewing a contact from within Microsoft Outlook, including existing internal and external relationships. Users can also add new relationships, assign their contact to a mailing list or even, create a new activity for the contact, and more.

Relationship Management

Expert Marketing also includes enhanced relationship management functionality, including the ability to select one or more contacts to be included in a relationship. The application’s improved user interface and selection criteria options make it possible for marketing staff and other professionals to easily establish and view relationships between contacts and between contacts and lists.

Activity Management

ADERANT’s marketing and business development solution has also been enhanced to include new activity management capabilities. Professionals and marketing personnel can now record all correspondence and interaction between the firm and a contact. Activities can be any record of an event that has taken place, such as an email being sent or received, a phone call being made, or participation in a seminar. Expert Marketing’s activity management functionality provides firms with a centralized repository for all interaction with clients, improving team collaboration and information visibility.

User Interfaces

Expert Marketing also includes several user interface enhancements that improve the application’s overall usability. The information bands with the application have been improved to incorporate toolbars that allow users to quickly perform actions on the data within the selected band. Toolbar items that relate directly to the data can be executed immediately, making it unnecessary for users to navigate elsewhere on the screen.

Standard “group by” capabilities commonly found in other ADERANT Expert applications have been added to Expert Marketing. This allows a user to group a list of items by one or more list columns, greatly improving how information is viewed and categorized. Additionally, users can select additional available columns to be displayed within lists, giving them tighter control over information organization and display.

The ‘My Work’ view within Expert Marketing has also been enhanced to include the ability to select one or more contacts from a user’s My Contact list and export them to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word for a mail merge, or Microsoft Outlook for a broadcast email. Additionally, users can tag related contacts and copy them into an existing marketing list.

Managing Contextual Data

The enhanced version of Expert Marketing includes a new maintenance component that enables a firm to easily create and maintain various contextual data elements that can be assigned to one or more relationship types. The new capability gives firms the ability to create, track, and maintain custom data for contacts.
